We have a 2003 Jayco Escapade Class C motorhome. Last week the carbon monoxide detector was going off while RV was parked for winter. Searched and searched and found that the auxillary battery was literally bubbling and hot and the entire interior of the RV now smells like sulfur. Any ideas on how to eradicate this odor would be appreciated. :(

Once you solve the battery problem, spray Feberze on any and all cloth material, (couch, seats, bed, etc) the battery odor will go away on it's own.

Forgot, you must have it plugged in and your inverter is constantly charging (overcharging) the battery.

If you leave your coach plugged into shore power all winter get a cheap timer that cuts off the power for 20 hours a day. Battery will stay charged but won't boil over
