We have a kayak and plan on getting a class A motorhome. We will be towing a small car and the only way we can imagine bringing the kayak is on top of the car we will tow. Looking for input. Thanks.

I've seen them tied to the rear ladder. I've seem ladders, bikes, etc. tied to the rear ladder.

Yeah I agree, on top of the car or on the MH ladder. check in the RV supplies and see if there is something. If you go with a small truck, you can put a rack on it for Kayaks.

Good Luck...:)

If you plan on vacationing with the RV, a car top carrier will probably work just fine for you. If you plan on doing more extensive traveling, then you may want to consider mounting the kayak either on your ladder or, if the kayak isn't too heavy or bulky... I've seen them mounted on the RV roof.

As a full time RV'er, carrying a hard shell kayak got to be a major PITA so I sold mine and purchased an inflatable. It inflates quickly, is very stable, can handle class 3 rapids and when I'm done with it, it stores out of sight in my basement.

Try looking at rvraxx.com. I had the same question and found these guys online and met them at the RV show in Pa. this past September. Looks like they have a quality product.
