I just purchased a 2000 Newmar Mountainaire front engine diesel (Cummins).
Does anyone have any experience or advice they could share. I am having some difficulty getting the specifications such as holding tank capacities. The coach is 33 feet long, model 3357 (I believe).
Thanks

I don't have a newmar product but I would suggest that if you were to contact them and provide them with all the information about your motorhome they should be able to give you the information you seek.

Good Luck

 Good luck with your Newmar Front Puller.I own a 02 Dutchstar 3367 Gasser double slid which I belive is very close to your coach. If you look in the cabinets you will find a list of your coaches weights and all serial # of equip. and tank sizes. If you need more info. call Newmar they where very helpfull, have your coaches VIN# ready. If possible I would like to here how you like that diesel puller since I was very close to owning one but went for the gas job. I love my DS and the v-10 with a full Banks power pack keeps it moving.

Thanks for the post. I checked the cabinets and found out a lot of information and called Newmar and they helped a bit more. I love the diesel front engine although it is quite noisy. Right now I am having an issue with decreasing oil pressure indications but haven,t had time to get it in for service yet. It sounds like your unit is very similar to mine. I am glad to hear that you are satisfied since this is my first class A. Do your slides move extremely slowly when extending or retracting?

The slides move slow but they are steady with no jerking, they will be out with in a minute or two at the most. If you batteries are low they will move very slow so if so put your jacks down first then firer up your gen set that will help if is from low batteries.Make sure you remember to pull your front seat up or you will soon rip your seat.

If you have a vinyl floor where your slides are you may want to buy a few tiles to put down where the roller stop ,as the vinyl flooring will get rub marks which will wear thru with time.I took to self stick tiles and put them back to back so they stick togethere then as the slide comes in I put them where the roller will stop and hold them in place so the roller will stop on the tiles keeping the floor from being damaged. You may want to do this where the rollers stop on the carpet to keep the carpet from indenting . .Here is a few pics of the D/S interior

Good Luck and sorry I didn't get to you soon enough on the seat damage.
