The new Navion IQ DL Model has a rear slide with a Queen sized memory foam mattress. Best Mercedes powered rig yet. The mattress being flexable allows the side to close as bed support sleeve closes. Three windows when open. Not sure how far it slides out but hopefully won't hit the Toad behind it. I heard they get about 15 Mpg (diesel)5 speed towing. It's 24 feet plus slide.:)

The reports are that the first Itasca Navion IQ's are the CL's that are being shipped, and on some dealers lots now, they are MSRP at $105,900. The DL rear slides are going to be started in factories in January 2008 available by March at somewhere close to $110,000. Both are being advertised as 25 Ft. Class C's. The fuel savings of about $.075 per mile over a gasoline engined Class C or a savings of $7500.00 in 100,000 miles. The cost difference new between these new Diesels and a gasoline powered Class C is about $30,000. No savings here, the price needs to come down about $25,000 to justify the extra cost, as maintenance of the Diesel will be higher than the gasoline units by about 10% in 100,000 miles. A cash purchase without trade could be around $95,000 OTD against the sticker of $110,000. This may not be realistic as demand will cause dealers not to discount the prices, until after the run on them is over probable in a year or so. Hopefully more units similar will be built by the competition and force the prices down. The good thing is they use less fuel and therefore pollute less as they have the same emissions as gasoline powered unit.
