In light of the Chapter 11 Filing by National on Friday:


ACC Warranty Services will be accelerating the Effective Date of all Existing National RV Warranty contracts to 12/01/2007 to ensure there is no lapse in warranty coverage for our customers.

This change will also accelerate the Expiration Date of coverage by the same number of months on affected coaches that were still under factory warranty.


*Note: This change only affects National coaches that were still under Factory Warranty as of 12/01/2007.

The posting doesn't give the relationship between National RV and the Author. Does anyone know, in fact, if this is a legitimate statement from a National RV representative, or someone without status, as such.

what is going to happen to National RV? Are they planning on coming back and if so when? I prefer going to them for service, then any other dealer in my area!

National RV has closed its doors. It was not just a bankruptcy. All employees were laid off, and they will no longer be in business. Rumor has it they will not be back and a lot more manufacturers are considering closing their doors too :(

We own a 36' 1997 Dolphin with a huge slide out and just love it. Very few problems and well built with about 38k now on the odometer. Sure wish they were still in business...

I don't see too many problems about parts; coaches all use the basic same stuff. The only thing that worries me is a windshield replacement. Does the industry have just certain styles that everyone uses?
