I guess you can call that four wheelin'. You have four wheels, but I like the off-roading four wheel drive. More adventure to that. We have a CJ6 that is great to take on trails. We can certainly take that where we can't get our 35 foot motorhome in.

are you talking about atv's or jeep 4wd vehicles?

CJ6 is a jeep of course. Our son has a suzuki samarai he uses to go off roading with. Any 4 WD vehicle will do? An ATV is a little limited to use as both a toad and off-roading. Most places would not allow the ATV on the highways. I have found that ATV's can't even off road where we can with a jeep.

We spend our summers in Utah and they love ATVs there There is several thousand miles of marked trails. Yes you can use some with your jeep. I've put almost 6000 miles in the last 2 years. I've owned a couple jeeps and had a lot of fun with them, but I love my ATV.

I've heard it is awesome offroading in Moab, Utah. Some of our friends have gone. I've been in that area but never had the time to stay and really explore. Some time in the next 5 years our son and us plan on taking our vehicles to Moab for offroading.

Big Ben...we do a lot of atv'ing in Utah as well. We spent three consecutive entire summers at Marysvale (2003, 04,05) and only scratched the surface of the trails there. The Piaute trail is about 2500 miles of very well marked trails and there are more than 36,000 miles of "other trails" we were told. We rode many of both, but I would say we did no more than 20% of the Piaute, and far less of the "others". For anyone who would care to see the pictures of our atv trips to Utah (and other places) click on the link below.
