Yes, it's easier to push as you can control the movement easier. The time it takes to disconnect and reconnect may make you think twice. The front hitch usually is used for launching boats so the rear tires stay on the dry land so they have traction to back up. Moving the trailer for cutting grass under it and/or cleaning/repairing it is done with one front hook up that saves time, but to disconnect and reconnect, just for parking, it is not how most people would do it, unless they can't do it by backing.

By adding such a long extension might take a lot of weight off of the rear tires and you won't have traction. My suggestion would be to go to a large empty parking lot and practice, practice, practice, practice. In the long run you would be much better off.

I watched a guy do this and the weight of the boat and trailer caused the rear wheels to loose there grip. He got spinning, the tires smoking :) and he had to hook up to another truck to pull his out.

Backing for me is as easy as pushing. Spotter helps but stopping and checking a lot also important. If in doubt check it out. Be careful and be safe.

Last week I watched a fella back part way into a site. He unhooked his 19' TT and hook to his front to "push". He needs practice, practice, practice, he could not do it. By the time he figured it out, a bunch of us by hand put it where he asked us to. :) :)

I have never been there and haven't heard anything about that park.
I would go to RV Park Reviews and see what others have posted about it.
Hope fully some one else here will be familiar with it and post there opinion. http://www.rvparkreviews.com/
