Hey believe it or not I saw 2 young children frolicing on the Great Lodge 's porch wall -right next to the drop off- around 4-7 years old. I thought maybe the parent hadn't noticed the rdrop off, so I just said nicely- so not to panic- that there were near the ledge. the mom actually got offended- funny thing a few seconds later the younger child-a girl fell off the wall- fortunately onto the porch.
I am so glad my kids finally both got to see the Grand Canyon-finally-on their own as adults.
