I have the same problem...I have a two boys, ages 8 and 3. Need to find somewhere within about a 5 hour drive...Starting point Mississippi. Maybe Alabama, Florida, Texas????? Any ideas??? Would really like somewhere safe, a lot of fun for kids! (Not Disney) This is a Spring Break trip.

The Florida Panhandle has some nce places with camping. Destin & Panama City should be within your range. I have seen tricycles with big floating wheels that can be pedalled out into the surf.
