Unified Tow Brake [Archive] - RV Forums

Hello,

Can anyone that has had, or has a Unified Tow Brake unit by US Gear, tell me their feelings about the product. Getting ready to purchase a brake unit, and I really would like some feedback from people that have them.

Ihave had a US Gear brake system for almost5 years. this is the third car and the second motor home it has been on. Did have to replace the control module about three years ago but no problems since. I really like it and it works great.

I had one installed by the Monaco Coach Corp. last Oct. I love it and it works great. Don't have to do anything to it but just plug in the emergency disconnect and go. It is money well spent.

I've had a US Gear set up on my motor home and 3 different toads. Great system. The downside is the cost of moving it from one toad to another.
