I'm an Alaskan artist and usually sell my work to local gift shops throughout
alaska and the yukon.... with more and more asian imports flooding the
market... high gas costs etc... sales have dropped.... Alaska is a great
tourist draw... and last year several RV parks began buying my work as
they had a change over of tourist almost every night...,. I would like to
know how well the market is out there for hand made art..,., I paint a
wilderness scene on gold pans... magnets.... saw blades... key chain...
even toilet seats... the scenes would work well in any area where there are
mountain scenes...., Does anyone have any feed back... or suggestions
of RV parks with gift shops I might contact...,, if you would like to see pictures leave e mail and I will send some... can't make them work here
thanks and happy traveling.......... Yvonne

First welcome to the forums.
I really can't offer any insight into suggestions on how else to promote the sale of your art work. It seems from what you mention that you are doing all the right things.
Hope fully others on the forum here will be able to offer suggestions that will help.

I am not to sure about full timers as we live in a space that is small however I think that might be a good idea for vacationers who leave home for vacation returning to the big ole stix built house buying something for the home to remember the vacation.

Try putting some of your work in RV Campground Stores in your area on a consignment basis and see what happens. You might just be onto something here.
