I live in Michigan and travel to Pennsylvania a lot, WHY, to Fly fish for Trout, Salmond, Steelhead and bass/sunfish of course. If I told you all the great campgrounds I visit then I would reveal my fishing places, wouldn't I.
What to reveal. If you visit Southeast, MI, in Oakland County, outside of / North of Detroit, MI there are several County Parks that are great places, sometimes crowed, sometimes not. Both of the parks that allow camping have great lakes for Bass fishing and other game fish, Pike, Sunfish, so forth.
Addison Oaks is more laid back, Groveland Oaks is more kid's. In Addison Oaks Iv'e taged 20 inch Bass and at Groveland Oaks Iv'e taged 15 inch to 18 inch Bass one after the other. O well there it is some good local water for me.
