And what do you think about having to register as an "other"???

Not me, but Monaco, Safari and many others seem to be omitted as well. That's ok, like CC, Monaco products aren't too well known and probably not the quality of the Jayco, Coachmen, etc..... LOL. Stan

I'm slow today ... took me a minute to catch on! I also notice Prevost isn't listed, so I guess I'm in good company.

Not yet. We have a Foretravel and had to register as "other" also. Strange since they listed the Foretravel Motorcade Club as well as the Country Coach International Club. GO FIGURE! If you run across a loaded 36' 2004 Intrigue that belonged to a "little old lady" no not the one from Pasadena, let us know. See you doiwn the road..... mikenme

Will do ... but Foretravel is a great coach. Why would you want to switch?

Foretravel is a quality coach, but the company had some financial trouble and had limited production in 2003, 2004 and 2005 36' double slide U320's. The folks that bought the few that were built are hanging on to them, but if run across one let me know! Country Coach builds a quality product, as you well know, and the 2003 - 2004 36' double slide Intrigue has a great layout and a great following. I am sad that Country Coach has discontinued the 36' from its Intrigue line, but maybe that will change now that Bob Lee is back and the company is no longer publicly held. Lets hope so.

Also thanks Shanna for the prompt response on adding the SOB's (some other brand). I like this site already.

See you down the road..... mikenme

Now you have my curiosity up. We have an 02 Intrigue double slide Evening Star and love the floor plan. I don't know what was changed in 2003, but I have to check it out. I too hope that CC puts the 36' back into its Intrigue lineup. For us it's the perfect length, and I hear that it's the length that a lot of people are looking for. We traded up from a 32' Airstream Argosy TT, but with the slides we feel like we have twice the interior space and it's so much more manuverable than the TT was.

Okay, just checked. The 03 floor plan is identical to ours.

You have excellent tastes in motorhomes. The Evening Star is our favorite floor plan also. The 02 and 03 CC Intrigue floor plans are identical and with the exception of cosmetic changes you probably could not tell them apart. The main reason we were looking at an 03 or 04 is the 400hp ISL engine. Some late build 02's had the 400hp engine, but most either had the 350hp ISC or the optional 370hp ISL engine.

We to feel the 36' is the perfect length and we can "legally" check into almost all State parks in California. I have already drawn up plans to modify the Evening Star bedroom to include a dresser/vanity, dresser drawers and hidden launrdy baskets. The 04 is a little more work since the washer and dryer was moved from mid coach to the rear wardrobe closet. I have the 02/03 modification design in a PDF format if you like me to send it to you.

It seems many of us are sad to see the 36' Intrigue dropped from the CC lineup....I hope Bob Lee is listening.

See you down the road.....mikenme

Ours is the 370hp engine, but we like it. Plenty of power for us b/c we generally don't travel into mountain areas. Mostly NC to the ocean or to FL. We get 8-10 mph depending on whether we're towing the trailer.

I'm guessing you're gonna build this vanity/dresser under the bedroom window at the end of the bed. That's where I put my office desk. I work every day on the road and had to have something for my computer and printer/fax. Finally found a folding wooden desk that I can take down when we travel. If I leave it assembled and pull in the BR slide, I can't walk around the end of the bed.

Are you going to leave the existing cabinetry, modify it, or remove it?

In the bedroom we would remove the drawer stack in the wardrobe closet at the end of the bed. A builtin cabinet unit would run underneath the window and include a clothes hamper next to the wardrobe closet, next a dresser drawer unit (6 drawers) followed by a vanity unit on the washer dryer wall, (by the entrance to the bedroom). Above the window would be overhead storage with a flat panel TV and cabinets with mirrors over the hamper and vanity. With the slide out there is plenty of room to move about, but with the slide in it is across the bed if you need to access the wardrobe closet.

In the kitchen/dining room we would install a base and wall cabinet module that would run from the refrigerator to the front of the coach and terminate in a new computer table behind the passenger seat. The 2003 Intrigue 40' Suite Sensation shows a very simular setup in both the bedroom and kitchen/dining area. We would round out the modifications with removing the sliding door and wall which seperates the bath from the shower area. Our current Foretravel floor plan has an open bath setup and we love it. I know many folks like the private "potty" area , but it always seems to closed in to us.

We found a cabinet shop in junction City, OR - next to the Country Coach factory that can make to modifications and make it look like it came from the factory. I spoke with them and they have coaches that leave Country Coach and drive down the street and have modifications done before the new owners hit the road. I have seen pictures of their work and they do top quality work.

Thanks for sharing and exchanging information on your Intrigue. We saw the picture of your coach, very nice. We hope to have a picture of our Foretravel up shortly. See you down the road.....mikenme

Mike, your modifications sound great! If you ever get the coach and make these changes, I'd love to see photos!

I'd like to have one modification - getting rid of the fat tv and cabinet in the front and installing a flat panel TV. I'm forever hitting my head on that cabinet. But haven't found anyone around here to do the work. Oregon is too far.

BTW, I'd love to see a pic of your Foretravel.

We just purchased ours and have not traveled in it. Anxious to get started but lots to learn about products to use, etc. Is biodegradable toilet paper a must?

Jime457, welcome to the group! We've always used Thetford and never had a problem. Always figured it was better to be safe than sorry. However, I think I'll do my own time test. Maybe we could save some money.

Just in case you haven't discovered it yet, there is a great yahoo chat room for Country Coach owners. A wealth of info on anything you can imagine.
