Has anyone been to or knows about Wilderness Estates RV Resort in Ocala? We are currently staying at the Kings Bay Submarine Base RV Park and thought about driving down to check it out for next year, but it is 139 miles from here. The website makes it look great and it's only $350 a month and you pay elec. Would appreciate any comments if you have visited or stayed there. Thanks:) :)

I don't know too much about Wilderness Estates RV Resort. I know someone who stayed there and said it looked better than it was. We found one near Ocala that we liked. It is called Lake In The Forest. www.lakeintheforest.com
It was small but everyone was very friendly, karioke ? on an outdoor stage on weekends, heated pool, nice club house.
Stay safe & have fun

We have stayed at Wilderness Park Estates the past two winters. It is a park where they are selling the lots but will have lots available for rent for several years yet.It is a very friendly park with a very friendly manager and staff. It is also very pet friendly. They have a rec. hall, a lodge, a store and a restraurant. The park is under construction while they do improvements but it does not interfere much at all. The park is divided into three sections , the village section, the town section and the preserve. The rental lots have a Blacktop pad and the sale lots have concrete pads. We enjoyed it very much and they have Jam sesions a couple times a week, a christmas party where the park furnishes everything and a New Years party. We will be back this winter and looking forward to it.
