Looking for a Travel Partner 4/23 - 5/15 2008

Anyone interested in a RV Trip (Joliet, IL - Savannah, Ga)? I have a 34’ RV and would like to travel south April 26-May15 2008. It is just myself (43yr old female) and my 2 dogs. I am open to suggestions of points of interests to see. I plan to head to Atlanta, GA to go to a Drive-Thru Zoo and then to Savannah, GA. The RV is well maintained and fully equipped (no internet connection though). Looking for company to share with ideas, directions, gas costs and camping fees. Will have room for bicycles too. If interested, please contact me and we can formulate a plan.

It looks like there is another female (47yrs old) interested in this trip but she can only go one-way to Georgia because of time. She will then rent a car and return home. So if anyone in Georgia is interested in a RV Trip to the Chicago area or if you are also interested in going to Georgia and riding back with this other person, please contact me.

I doubt you'll have much luck here. Too specific. I'd try Craigs list in your town and be VERY careful.

Former Chicago native here and have friends and family back near Joliet. I have been living near Knoxville, TN for the last 18 years. Knoxville is about 520 or so miles from you and a good days trip, but Townsend, TN is a good place to visit near the Foothills of the Smokey Mountains on your trip down. The campground is right next to the little river and is a beautiful area if you have ever been there. I assume you will be taking I-65 to Indy to I-74 to Cincinatti to I-75 South through Lexington and on through Knoxville as your best route.
Hopefully you will see this before you leave on Friday.
