We use a Suzuki GS750L motorcycle as our toad. We have a custom made trailer that makes loading and unloading the motorcycle real easy. I love using the motorcycle as our toad when traveling in the mountains. We can park the 35' motorhome at a campground and then use the motorcycle to cruise through the winding roads and see the beautiful view in the mountains.

I have a 40' MH and pull a full size Chevrolet PU 4x4 and have a MC loader on the back of the truck to pull my HD ultra clasic onto the back of the truck and hall it there. I have the best of both worlds when we arive at our destination. If the weather is bad I have the truck and if good I can go for a cruise on the bike. It only takes a few minutes to unload and load with the loader.

We bought a toy hauler last May to go camping and haul our motorcycles. It worked great and I would highly recommend it. But..... we ran across a great deal on a Class A motorhome and now find ourselves without a way to haul our motorcycles! We are eventually wanting to purchase either a trailer to pull behind the MH or some type of loader like you mentioned for your pickup. I'm not sure which way we should go!!! What do you guys consider the pros and cons of the trailer vs. the loader????

You might look into having a motorcycle lift installed onto the back of you Class C. I have an Itasca Suncruiser 33 feet and have a motorcycle lift on the back that is electric controlled and haul a 750 shadow aero. With this system I can also tow my Jeep cherokee as well and therefore also have the best of two worlds. I am not sure if this type of motorcycle lift can be mounted on a Class C, but I would check into it. You may have to install Air Shocks to lift up the back of the motorhome..Good luck

We just purchased a 30ft Winnebago Vista Class A. I also purchased an open trailer with a ramp to haul my Honda Gold Wing. We plan to travel to NY State next week.

Considering a hoist by Blue Ox for my beloved VTX. It's a big bike that I've extensively modified and augmented. She's a serious screamer when I want her to be. Not often these days I'll add! Nevertheless, I'd like to haul her along for a putt now and then on my 35' Pace Arrow. Any suggestions?

My wife and I use a Honda CBR600RR sport bikes. Its a little on the sporty side but we are young yet. Probably helps that I race a Honda CBR600RR on the side. Its a lot of fun and you get were you want to go a lot faster.

I'm curious, has anyone found a good way to haul a motorcycle with thier 5th wheel? We sold the toybox for more living space in our new Cariage, but I know there will be times when I will wish I could still take the Harley with us.

I saw a rig a while back that had a rack on the back of his 5er that had a full size bike on it based on the cover over it. I am sure he had some kind of ramp to load it and unload it. Good luck to ya.

Just last week I saw a 35-40 foot "A" with a Harley on an hydraulic arm that was mounted under the bumper, looked like he comes in at 90 degrees to the coach and drives unto the bike rack then is strapped down then the hydraulic lifts it up and over the bumper. I couldn't do that with my "C" with the over hange I have, besides my "Wing" weighs half again as much as the hog, just a tad over 1,000 lbs.

I plan to tow my 18' tilt bed trailer so I can load my "93" GoldWing and my small (12.5 foot) hovercraft when we go to the mid west to some of the hovercraft rallys, I'm going to build a small trailer for towing either the bike or the hover by it's self, can't see towing the 18' tilt bed for just one rig.

We have a 40' motorcoach and pull a trailer with a Goldwing and a Honda. BTW, does anyone know of any RV groups that like to ride in Central Florida. It's hard to find other RV'ers that like to ride instead of sitting around the campfire. Which don't get me wrong, that is a great way to relax after a ride. :D

I am looking at a motor home that has a full dressed harley on a hydraulic plate on the back of the motor home and it also has a hitch at the end of it to pull a toad besides.

Also check out www.hydralift-usa.com for a hydraulic lift that will definitely carry a Goldwing and still allow you to tow your vehicle. We are getting one installed on our 40' Class A in a couple weeks so we can take both the GL1800 and the Element with us down south for the winter. We have seen several during our travels and have only heard good things about the product.
