Q: We are renting an RV for two weeks this summer. Should we get the rental coverage from our personal insurance company or from the rental company. The rental company suggested our personal coverage + a binder, buy my agent said I should put the liability back with the rental company. Any thought out there? Lil Ricky.

I sounds like neither one wants to insure it. I would call Progressive and ask them.

Follow your insurance agents advice, stay with the rental company insurance, if you need to file a claim you only have one insurance company to deal with.
If you involve your personal insurance company an need to file a claim then you run into problems of the two Ins. companies trying to lay it off on each other and your stuck in the middle.
It may cost you a few extra dollars but stay with the rental company Ins.

I was just pondering the same thing. We're renting a class c for 10 days in June and that is one of the things on my "need to check out" list. Thanks for the advice.
