afret, give us headsup and we will invite you and any of your club members to camp with us in the winter months. Our club would love to have youall visit.
We camp the 1st weekend of each month at a rally spot somewhere in NE Florida.
I am headed to your area in a couple of weeks and would love to meet up with youall this June.
I also need some help with campgrounds.

Hey Bugs, sorry for a delay in getting back to you, been having some computer problems up here and I haven’t paid too much attention to this part of the forum. How ever, thanks for the “winter” invite, I’ll try to pass that on to other members.
We get together every third weekend which is coming up in about two weeks for this June month. We try to spread our locations around Middle TN and Northern AL and for this month it’ll be a Corp of Engineers/Cedar Creek campground on Old Hickory Lake. That’s located about 15 miles east of Nashville and a bit north of Mt Juliet, TN.
As for other campgrounds, wonder if your looking for some area in particular or wanting to see the “sights” while you’re here? If it’s the Grand Ol Opra, Opra Hotel (which is worth the time to walk through) General Jackson river boat or even “Jackson’s Place” meaning Andrew Jackson home, probably the best bet would be any one of three on Music Valley Drive. KOA, Two Rivers or Yogi Bear. All of them seem to be fairly nice campgrounds but not fancy. Either of them would also be best bet if you wanted to visit down town ie: C/W Museum, lower Broad, Ryman Auditorium (if it’s open to public) Printers Alley or even 2nd Street. If your interested in CoE campgrounds, there are three that I’m aware of that is worth the time and effort. Cedar Creek that I mentioned above, Cages Bend which is north of Nashville but still on Old Hickory Lake and Seven Points on Percy Priest Lake. There has been some attempt to upgrade them to 50 amps plus some sewers but how many and where I have no idea. Other wise, it’s 30 Amps and water. There are some others on the out skirts but I have very little knowledge of them. Incidently, there is a Full Service Camping World on the same street as those three C/G if there is an interest there. Also two or three decent restaurants.
If I’m late with this, sorry about that, if not, have a safe trip up and enjoy the area while you’re here. By the way, Temp today was around 92 and humid. Make sure you’re A/C is working good.

Bugs: Sounds like you have a very good circular trip planned. Sorry though, would like to meet up with you but wife in therapy for knee replacement. As a matter of fact, that has kept me from pulling the coach out of storage (from last Nov after our last trip). Thought we could camp last month with our group, Therapist said, "no way, she wasn't ready for steps yet." Now things have changed much so I'm going to pull it out next weekend and start prepping it for the following week/weekend. I've been spending a lot of mental time putting together my pre-trip checklist from de-winterizing to changing the oil in the generator, which I didn't do last fall---and I'm not going there.
So have a safe trip and good time, stay in touch and we’ll be looking forwards to hearing from you some where down the road. By the way, wife said the Grand Casino in Tunica had sold out to Harrah in Vega but didn’t know if the campground went with it. Hope you do better then we did couple years back. :)

Thanks for the tip on Tunica. By the way, ever thought of changing the generator oil to Synthetic? Assuming you have a gas unit.
We will be staying in touch from the road for the next month or so with a Verizon Air card for the laptop.
