Can't Stop Eating Pickles
1 gallon dill pickles
4 lb bag of sugar
1 bottle tabasco sauce
butt load of garlic gloves
4 or 5 quart jars
Dissolve sugar in pickle juice over heat. Remove from heat and add tabasco sauce.
Cut pickles into 1 inch chunks. (I sometimes slice a few for sandwiches! ) Put
lots of garlic gloves in the bottom of each jar. (I put anywhere between 10-15 gloves
per jar---we LOVE garlic.) Add pickles to the jars and cover with juice. Store pickles
in the refrigerator for 3 weeks before eating.
We usually can't wait the whole 3 weeks before opening the first jar. The longer
they set, though, the hotter and more garlicky they become!
