We are third year fulltimers looking for a good place to spend some of the summer. We normally spend the summers in the Pacific NW. This spring we find ourselves in Georgia and it's a long way to Oregon. Where do fulltimers go when east of the Mississippi and home is not an option. Looking for a senior oriented RV park for a month or so? Sounds like a very broad queston but maybe you can point us in the right direction.

Most or if not all campgrounds have seasonals and monthly rates. Decide which direction you want to go and look at reserveamerica.com, koa.com, nycampgrounds.com, newjerseycampgrounds.com, campmass.com or just search campgrounds.`

If you have never been to northern Minnesota, that is a good place. Duluth, MN has a lot to do and see. There are museums, boat rides, good eats, festivals, art shows, tours and lots of history. There is a good campground in Saginaw, MN, a good sam rv park, where you can roost for a month. It is quiet, close to a mall and golf. We go there and it full of migrating birds, loons, deer and free fishing. We once saw a bear swimming across the pond.
We are fulltimers and spend a lot of summer there. Name is Ogston's RV campground. There is a lot to do and see for as far as a 50 mile radius. The town gears up for all the tourism also. It is home to Fiddle contest, Blues Festival, Ren Festival, Ethnic Festival and the worlds largest inland port, with ships from all over the world coming for grain and bring their exports. Well as you can see we find lots to do there and it is cool nights and warm summer days. Don't quote me on the weather as no one can predict that.Hope this helps. Lois

If money will allow have you given any thought to traveling thru the summer instead of standing still. We really loved our trip to the Maritimes last year. We had to be in the Florida Keys last year for our son's wedding so we went up the East coast, thru NY, Conn, Mass, Maine and into the Maritimes. This was a great trip and the Canadians are wonderful. If you do not want to cross the border. Maine has a lot going for it, but then again every state does. Just pick a state and google it and you'll find tons of thing to do. Travel safe
