Does anyone have experience installing a gas oven in a fairly new Fleetwood trailer? We purchased a Taurus Lynx Ultralite about 3 years ago now that never had a gas oven in it. It was equipped with just a gas range and a microwave next to the exhaust venting. Under the gas burners is a deep slide out drawer where other RV's would have the oven.
At the time, my wife and I never thought that we would have liked having an oven, but after MANY cross country trips where we've had quite a few boondocking and overnight stops in Flying J's, it became apparent that we could have used the gas oven many times where we were not hooked up with electric..
Is it hard to self install an RV oven in a unit like this, or would this be a job better done at an RV dealership?

Thanks in advance... John

How handy are you at doing cabinet work? If you are comfortable cutting out the existing range top and drawer that is below it, you won't have any problems. The gas line is already there for the range top, so you will only need to do a little reroute work on it.
If you look at similar units that have a stove/oven already in them you will get a good idea of what you will need to do.
