Hi,
I would like to know if anyone one has a good area for people who want to rv fulltime. Geant you, living in the Rv is cheaper than living in an apartment or house. The area is smaller , but you have the outdoors as your living room.
We moved from Idaho to Minnesota and our cost of living went way up. This we can't afford. Told my husband we could live cheaper in the RV.
So if any have a good inexpensive area let me know.

A lot of RVers Live In Florida or Arizona for at least half of each yea. Others travel fulltime, some workcamping to supplement income.

we have found texas and alabama to be more reasonable in cost than florida but all depends on the individuals involved.
for campgrounds try passport as that saves a lot of money and also if you are over age 62 the corp of engineers parks are a good deal.

suggest you do two things:
1. consider boondocking
2. consider workcamping for the govt or state type campgrounds,
they sometimes "give" electric, water, sewer for a few hours
of work.

Boondocking on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) in Arizona is the cheapest. $160 for a permit to park on their long-term areas from Oct to May. Or you can move every 14 days and stay FREE. Solar panels or a generator a must.

Check out escapees.com website .. there are several parks around the country in the southern section that lease long-term. In Livingston, TX
there is a CARE facility and mail-service. Primary a home-base for full-timers.

There is a place in Livingston Texas for people that live in their RV's and retire. They have everything available.
