We just got a fifth wheel and plan to take couple of months trip. Is there a way I can get my mail? We will be stopping for a few days at different campgrounds.
Thanks, Wheel House

You may get some advice concerning a mail forwarding service but in your case I would use the USPO Premium mail forwarding service.
The USPO Premium Mail forwarding service can be seen at this site (http://www.usps.com/receive/premiumforwarding/welcome.htm). They will supply it for up to a year.
Note that when you use a mail forwarding service you have to do a change of address with the mail forwarding service being your new address.
When you get ready to stop using them you can't just do another change of address because that would result in all of the mail for everyone going to the mail forwarding service being sent to your new address.
You have notify everyone that sends you mail of your new address.
This service keeps you from having to do that.

Another possibility to consider, do you have a trusted neighbor or a relative that could pickup your mail regularly, sort it and then forward it to you?
This would keep you from paying for a lot of junk mail to be forwarded, plus being your only going to be a few days at each campground it would make it easier to receive your mail in case your plans change an your arrival date at a particular place changes.

I did as Whodo said with one exception, my daughter took care of it and any bills to be paid while we were away were left with her to mail.

I tried the "family" and it just didn't work for us. It started out ok but after awhile they get tired of messing with it and they are all busy also.
I used FMCA for 11 years and it was great. You do have to join Family Motor Coach, but the mail forwarding is free with membership. They just charge you the postage..
Just my 2 cents and it's overpriced.

You can have your permanent address and a mail forwarding address. You just have to decide what goes where. You can also, keep your mail forwarding address when you are in your permanent address. You just have to have the mail forwarded to you at your permanent address on a regular schedule.
We use good Sam (Home Base) out of Florida.

We arranged to pay all our bills thru online banking. I than got a post office box at the post office for all the rest of our mail. Than arranged with USPO and have our mail sent to us at each location. I just call them a week in advance. My mail goes out of the post office on wed. We get it usually the following monday or tuesday.

If you are Escapee RV Club members they have a fantastic mail forwarding service. Alot of times I'll call them and tell them to send it to the park I'm going to or as general delivery at a small post office some where ahead of time and by the time I drive there my mail is waiting for me in one package . I have used their service since 2001.
