Has anyone replaced a broken spring on the HWH levelers and if so, how difficult was it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Straight down or Kick (fold) down HWH levelers?

The straight down levelers are the easiest of the two types.
I recommend replacing the springs in pairs, even if only one of the two springs are broken, the other one normally isn't far behind.
Changing the spring is fairly straight forward self explanatory job.
{This is not a requirement, BUT, I always recommend taking a short piece of 1/4" or larger rope (cable will also work) that is just long enough to tie off at the top of jack and then running it through the spring an then tie at bottom of the jack so that when the spring decides to do its own thing it will not be flying out across the yard, field, shop, etc. The rope will hopefully keep it from hitting you or some one else. For some reason springs have a mind of there own.}
A tire iron or a small pry bar is required to physically stretch the spring enough to get it hooked.
Leave the one remaining good spring on until you have replaced the broken one. To replace the broken one either hook the top or the bottom depending on which end allows the most clearance for working, then with aforementioned pry bar stretch the spring enough to hook it on the other end.

Thanks whodo for your help. The levelers are the straight down ones. Will be calling HWH first of the week for a pair of springs.
