We am going to the Niiagara Falls area in June for a few days. I checked out campgrounds and Four Mile Creek State Park seems to be a good location at a reasonal price, has anyone ever stayed there and what's it like?
Thanks WH

I'd rather go to Lundy's KOA on the Canada side, very clean, great staff and they have a shuttle into town and the falls.

We have stayed @ Four Mile Creek State Park many , many times...
The park is on the American side of the border , a few miles from Niagara Falls.NY
Large sites , but no pool...no cable TV ...etc
The park is a very nice park,at lest we like it...
I have not stayed @ the KOA in Niagara Falls , Canada , but know this>
Historically KOA campsites cost 2x's what the US state parks cost...
But you get a probably get a pool , cable TV ...etc...
Choice is yours...
I'm sure you can't go wrong either way...
Depends what creature comforts you like....

make sure you head over to the Canadian side, you get a great view of the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. Canada lights up the falls at night..
Maid of the mist departs from the Canadian side. Most attractions are just price gouging the tourists, but Maid of the Mist is reasonable. The Canadian side is also prettier..and I'm not predjuiced, cause I am a dual citizen, U.S.first then Canadian..wherever you stay, you will have a great time. Also the Butterfly conservatory is really nice, east of the falls(CD side).its near the KOA. Also there are Helicopter rides(pricey) but well worth from the photos you can take..Enjoy!!Dona

We also stayed at the KOA on the Canadian side clean, quite, friendly,FH park. We took the tour that leaves from the park. Small van that took us to the falls walked down behind the falls, took the Maid of the Mist and sightseeing all on one tour and a pretty good price. We were there in Oct. so were the only ones on the tour. Have fun

We also stayed at the KOA on the Canadian side. Took the public bus back and forth to the Falls and other tourist sites. I find the KOAs aren't as pricey if you have the Kamping Card. We stay at them in areas we are visiting because they have to keep to certain standards and we enjoy the amenities. AAA has a Niagara Parks Pass that has entry into quite a few of the tourist attractions and I would highly recommend buying that before you leave. I think it also includes 2 days on the public transit bus system. Have fun.
