I was just checking what music do most RV'rs listen to? I guess I'm assuming it's country/western, but I wanted to see.

Me? I mostly listen to new age (prefer the Windham Hill and the Narada musicians), and I do like Josh Groban (I think he is classified as "pop").

I also enjoy Neil Young (Formerly of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young), Moody Blues and Yes. And, my prize possession is the "It's a Beautiful Day" album (oh boy, I'm showing my age with use of the word "album") that has "White Bird" on it...... I got it copied to a CD.

Depends on the mood Im in.
Mostly its country. I prefer the older type country over whats being aired today.
Or Classisical for when I want to relax.
Once in a while Ill listen to oldies from the 50's to early 70's.

Well, I got lambasted on another forum for making the assumption about "country." I apologize for that assumption. Most RV'rs I have met listen to country, so I was basing it on that.

OH well.....

Neil Diamond or The Animals after that you can kindly turn the radio off.

I'm camping, in the pool, playing horseshoes, baseball, sitting around the fire with a few cocktail, no time for a radio. :)

In the past few years I have found that the older classic rock and roll and new country is almost in as much demand as as the old country. This is from song request at RV parks, rallies and shows.

I think most RVers like to hear bluegrass live......but when recorded after the first 3 songs it all sounds alike.

(Bet this will bring out the Bluegrass people)

70's and old rock and roll mostly. I love music! Love to listen to it, sing, dance. It just makes me feel good. I get my jazz fix on Sundays usually. And any time is the right time for Jimmy Buffett!!!

Maybe it's just cause i'm old, but I like OLD country, OLD rock & roll, & OLD Bluegrass. Not necessarily in any order, just kind of all mixed up.

I like being in the woods listening to the instruments playing Smooth Jazz. I have found almost nothing as relaxing. Try it out.

I'm not a big fan of Tom Petty, but for some reason, I LOVE to listen to that.... that.. 'Driving' song he has when going down a long, winding hill. I forgot the title to the song........

For me... Country and classic Rock. I have my MP3 connected to my radio, so I always have my favorites on hand.

Often while on the road we will listen to audio books... latest ones by Lee Child.

I find it interesting, and not disgusting by the way, that one would think RVers like country and that this appears to be true in a lot of cases. I have long gritted my teeth that truck drivers feel they are the modern cowboys.

But to get back to the question, I do like Country, but the country of Tubbs, Nelson, Waylon etc. Most of what I hear coming out now reminds me of what was considered Rock and Roll when I was growing up. Speaking of that, I listen to music from the 50s off my dish, and when I am just sitting around reading, I like to have the classical channel turned on. It is pleasant, and not so overpowering that I forget what I am reading. I have also found that there are some pretty good stations that play big band stuff on the dish.
