Been thinking about heading down to San Felipe, BC in January for a couple of months, anyone familiar with that area that could tell us a thing or two? Wife is not all that hot on going across the border but have heard that it is a great spot to escape the weather. We have passports and are senior citizen types, pretty much. Went to Quartzsite, AZ last winter and was not all that impressed with the area. Liked Lake Havasu & Laughlin but the farther south we went the rattier it got. The only info we can get on the east Baja coast is from developers that want you to buy (lease??) a lot and house which is not what we are interested in doing. Any comments?:) :)
