Hi,
I posted this same question under campgrounds and realized I should have posted it under this forum
Has the price of gas and diesel affected your traveling with your RV and if so how?
I am just curious as it has affected us alittle, no big trips this year but alot of short ones and also with our FMCA local chapter.

I am trying to travel for more days and staying longer at each stay; therefore cutting down the cost of each day out.

:D bought a air card now I stay at cg for longer periods of time and can manage bills from there. Paid neighbor kid 20.00 to cut grass. Now if I can stay out of doctors office it will work out lol.

I'm leaving this morning on a 300 mile trip but will be back on the 7th and then it will be short trips through the summer. With the price of fuel oil, I'm thinking about staying in Venice FL for the winter.

Well, I'm thinking of a different strategy here. I have a 40' Fleetwood Revolution.....Diesel, holds about 150 gallons...very expensive to fill. I was thinking of getting a older but still very good condition Pop up for Short trips, 3-4 days max. I can pull it with my F-150 v-6 dinghy and still be within weight limits. It takes away from the BIG motorhome experience that my partner loves but she and I are very outdoors people. Gas is cheaper than diesel here in Georgia and we don't have to invest in another tow vehicle. Any thoughts?

Came through New Jersey last night, filled up at $3.89 and I'm seeing $4.29 to $4.35 here in NY.
