Looking for Beach campgrounds in Michigan

Dh and I are looking for a camp ground located in Michigan on Lake Michigan. We would love to be able to beach camp but are having trouble locating a campground on Lake Michigan. Are there any private campground up there ? I have found one state park but they are filled for the time we are needing. Thanks for any help you can provide. --Michele in Ohio
