This is will be our first trip to florida in the wintertime. Plan on coming to florida this winter and looking for a campground where there is fishing and boat rentals along a lake or river. Not so much on the ocean. and :o

You may want to check out Wilderness in Silver Springs. They are selling lots but also rent sites daily, weekly,or monthly. Lot of changes the last two years with more to come. Weather is not as warm as some farther south, you may have to run your heatersome nights but more than tolerable.

We are going to
Adelaide Shores CG in Avon Park. This is about 15 miles north of Sebing in the middle of the state. The CG is located on a 100 acer lake that has fish. We did quite a bit of searching in the area last winter and we choose this one for price, being clean, and friendly people. Has all of the amenities as the RV Resorts have. Paved roads and concrete sites.

we picked up a brochure at the Boat/RV show in Daytona for a place called HIGHLANDS MARINA and CAMPRESORT in DeBary, Florida. We will be taking a look-see this week...it's on the St. Johns River.
