I have 25 years of residential and commercial heating, cooling, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical service/replacement experience. I am thinking of completing a RV service/maintenance course leading to cerification as a RV Technician.
Would my campground services be needed? Would campground seminars on various systems of an RV be in demand?

YES there is a need for technicians. for instance we are in Gillette Wyoming area, there is nobody within 100 miles to do repairs if we needed. but first look to see if u are un an area that gets alot of RVers.or maybe have a travelling service. and if so, stay up with rallies and such .. sturgis and different events. just do research on how and when u would be available

It would be nice to have a tech around to service things that go wrong, right on site that would be ideal. I say go for it.

Having spent a lifetime in the RV bus. in one form or another (campground owner, RV service, RV sales, RVer) {Retirement is wonderful} I would say that you could do very well just following the snow birds. We just spent 3 months in the Arizona desert and ran into a lot of people that wanted some one to work on there RV where they were camped. I know one gentleman personally that spent every day for a month installing Solar Panels for people.
Is there a need for some one "young enough" to do the work, You bet there is. (young enough defined; someone still able to twist there body into positions that normal people were never intended to be able to) {try getting into some of the spots that manufactures put things during const., you'll understand what I mean}
