Ants, Ants, and MORE Ants

Just completed a trip in north Georgia and Alabama. At two campgrounds the ant situation was unbelieveable. At one point, the fresh water hose was solid with them! After several cans of spray things got better--but I know I have read somewhere about putting certain products on the ground around the RV that will discourage infestations.

Suggestions will be appreciated. :confused:

Try using a Scouring cleanser.... sprinkle around the jacks... tires... hose... electrical cable... any place where they might travel up and into the RV.

Marv's suggestion is sound. Had that problem at a campground in Northern AL. Good ol AJaxs moved them off to somewhere else.

Side note, I complained to the campground office about the ants in our site. They sent a guy with a can of spray, we back track the ants route, found the hill close to 35 yards back in the woods. So they can and will travel a great distance.

Have had the same problem in the past....Cleanser works good!
