Beware of getting ongoing prescriptions filled in New York State. We did this with my wife's prescriptions last month and per the pharmacy, state law REQUIRES the pharmacy to cancel any further refills of the prescriptions. We are now struggling to get the Physician and the Pharmacy together to get the prescriptions refilled since they are no longer valid.

Have since solved the problem, by getting prescriptions by mail, for 90 days at a time, refillable for up to 1 year, no more problems.

We have successfully transferred Prescriptions to Colo, SD, and MN. No problems except in NY.

The wife has the local pharmacy from back home just mail here prescriptions to her every month. Mine are mailed from the VA to my post box who than forwards them to me. In three years we have not had a problem yet.

.
That is not accurate, somebody gave you bad information.
While full timing for six years we have had out of state prescriptions filled in states all the country with no problem.
GA is the only state we have found so far that would not accept an out of state prescription.

We've never had a problem getting an out-of-state prescription filled any place we've been. Of course, we mostly travel in the Western U.S., so maybe this is the difference.

I don't see where there is a problem, I use CVS and anywhere in the country I can get whatever from their computer system. If no refills, they contact your doctor and they fax the new script to CVS.

Prescriptions by Mail-90 day supply work for me! Be sure to order by the earliest possible time-AS STATED ON THE PRESENT BOTTLE. ALSO, buy them in Mexico, if you are close to the Rio Grande Valley, in TX. That works, TOO. another reason to go there besides the DELICIOUS CHEAP oranges, and Grapefruit. Grandma Jo
