Anyone have any recommendations for the Lake Wales Area? I know there are several RV Parks/Resorts. One didn't respond to e-mail, 2 others didn't sound very enthusiastic/interested. Appreciate any responses.

Rude as it may be, some I know don't bother because they are always full for the winter and couldn't care less. A couple I know wish they did answer the call.

We are staying at a park about 15 miles south of Lake Wales.
We signed up and paid for in the spring.
At that time they had less than 6 sites available, and if two came in at the same time and the one wanted a site for less than six months they didn't want to talk to them.
Florida is truly getting to be "the early bird gets the worm."

We will be staying at a campground about 20 miles from Lake Wales. It is called River Ranch campground. Beautiful spot, 2 pools, cement pads and restaunant and saloon. Nice place.
