Hi - we recently bought a Class A Motorhome that has a booth dinette. My husband wants to replace that with a table and chairs. So... we thought if we were going to do that, we would change some of the interior of the motorhome. I am wondering where is a good place to buy a sofa sleeper? I didn't know if all the manufacturers carry these at the assembly plants, or if there are surplus stores around. Any ideas would be helpful. Since we live in Indiana where alot of RV's are manufactured, we thought there might be some places right here in our state.

I am not sure where you can buy the things you are looking for but since you are using a computer, use it for searches. Camping World and some of the supply outlets might be a source too. I would search on the internet first and see what you can find. Good luck.

There are several business locations in and near Elkhart Indiana that sell Surplus RV related products. A trip there will also allow you to visit some of the Companies that are building RV's.

A Visit to an RV Company will allow a better understanding on how many are built.

Good Luck.

Do what we did, tear the old dinette out nd bought a d/r table and chairs at a yard sale, slice the table in half and attached it to the wall, WOW!!! what a difference it makes

Sometimes RV dealers will sell you furniture. It doesn't hurt to make a few calls and ask.

Go to www.rverscorner.com/info/rvsalvage.html and scroll through the list. If you can't find what you need, do a search on the web for RV Surplus. :)

Be willing to remove a window or windshield to gain a access to the interior of your coach or trailer for removal of your Old furniture and placement of your new. This will give you a endless selection of furniture option's. Shop your home furnishing stores and forget the limited -expensive Rv Furniture Route. This my sound extreme, but believe me it's easy. I pulled all of my old furniture out of my fifth wheel through the back window and installed Ralph Lauren leather sleeper sofa, chairs- otto's, bought it at 75% off on closeout, saved big time and got what I wanted. Total time on the window, 1.5 hours.

Try http://www.colawrvsalvage.com/default.asp, they have a huge inventory of salvaged RV's from heavily damaged to still repairable and may have items you are looking for. :)
