Hi, This Is Our Very First Rv Experience At The Ages Of 71 And73. Hope We Have Many Years Left. Are There Any Forest River Motor Home Owners Out There And Does Forest River Mh Owners Have A Site Or Rallies Or Anything That Unites Them? We Have Forest River Sunseeker, 28 Ft. Right Now We Are Trying To Decide The Best Way To Disinfect Potable Water Tank. Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated.

I don't know how your rig works but our water system allows me to pull a mixture of bleach and water into the fresh water storage tank. From there I use the water system to flush the bleach water thru the lines, let sit for an hour or so then drain the whole system. re fill the tank with clean water and run thru lines until bleach smell is gone. Caution, bypass water heater if equiped to do so otherwise you will also have to empty and flush the water heater after the lines are flushed.
