After reviewing the different topics on this forum what I don't seem to find in any one location is a subject on hobbies folks have. So, with that said I would be interested in what hobbies interest you.

Am always up for a roadtrip!
My work has taken me to some interesting places over the years. Most unfortunate was the circumstances for my travel to those locations, to work on wildfires.

Saltwater fishing is another interest. For many years we cruised the east coast of Florida. Enjoy the catch and release style so my grand kids will have something for them to enjoy someday.

On most evenings you can probably find me with my computer parked in Campfire Chat sharing interests with like minded RVers.

My hobby started about 50 years ago, but I really caught the"disease" after retirement. We like to do antique car tours around the country. Most national tours are 4-5 days and may be up to 700 miles or more. We have seen some interesting places. My oldest car is 1911. Tours are designed for the era of the cars. We went on a Nickel Era tour last year, for cars made 1912-1929 with nickel trim. The Brass era is for cars 1915 and older.

Impressive Stanlysteamer68982! I refurbished a 1966 GTO ( pic on my site) and would tour locally to different shows and meets. :)

Great thread Wagon !!!

Let's see where to start ..

Photography
Has always been my passion. When I shot film I always took too many pictures, now that they are digital there are WAYYYYYYYYY too many, but I still love it!!!

I am hoping to be able to do something useful with my photography when we retire. I've had requests recently for access to pictures I've taken of parades and other events.

Antique Fire Apparatus
We are the proud owners of a 1974 Mack CF-600 pumper and Mr Mo is ALWAYS looking for the 'next' truck even though I have become exceedingly attached to 'Mack' as it/he/she is affectionately called.

Said Mack gives me LOTS of opportunity to indulge in the first passion .. my photography! And it's fun to ride down the road in the truck and have people just STARE!!!

NASCAR
We are both NASCAR fans, though Mr Mo got into it because of me and I think he follows the ins and outs more closely than I do. I'm a confirmed member of Junior Nation, though when he switched from Bud to Amp I had a problem because red is much more my color than green is, but I've adapted! And I am behind him 100% and more with the National Guard.

Our NASCAR hobby also gives me lots of photo ops. We do two major NASCAR trips a year, going to Lowes Motor Speedway (Charlotte) in May for 2 weeks and in October for another week, each year. For several years we got another trip in there as well, but we have missed the last few. Hopefully, we will get Dover or Pocono or Richmond on the schedule in 2009.

Meeting People
I've been on line and chatting since December 1996 and in the last 12 years I've had the opportunity to meet many of my on line friends off the boards. Mr Mo was skeptical in the beginning, buying into the horror stories of the internet, but he's lightened up a bit since we haven't met any axe murderers yet.

We had a wonderful group from myRVspace.com Campfire Chat get together in Tybee Island GA this past September and I hope that is the first of many group get-togethers.

Evenings I can generally be found hanging out in Campfire Chat.

I guess that we are dull, but with that being said we do the following and we don't really call them hobbies
We bowl once a week, golf three times a week, go geocaching, kayaking, hiking, sightseeing none of these are hobbies so we are dull

"MERRY CHRISTMAS"

Those are great ventures jdenise! We have a box of rock from out last visit to the western states. Some day we might even find a diamond in the rough, as we can't really tell what some rocks are in the rough. :( but they are interesting nonetheless.

Well Stanley, I was thinking that folks would share whatever their interests may be. They might even discover like minded folks where they could share their stories. Maybe I should have titled the topic what interests you. :)

My wife says I have too many hobbies. But being retired at 43 I learned to keep myself occupied and not sit and waste away. I enjoy cooking and baking, and also make my own homemade sausages and jerky. I fish,Hunt, camp(duh),and enjoy wandering in the woods and enjoying them. I also am a skilled cabinet maker and enjoy welding and other metal work. Needless to say with all the hobbies and the tools and equipment need to partake in them my house is quite crowded hence the wifes position I have Too many hobbies. As I talk I just got done preping for a am fishing trip and between the winter woolies and fishing gear it's hard to get to the front door hehehe!!!:D

Well, we're starting our 13 year of fulltiming so travel if definitely our main "hobby". We love to walk, hike trails, explore and sightsee. Golf is our #1 hobby. We too strive for 3 times a week 52 weeks a year. Of course there is also dancing, Texas Holdem and singing off key-------------:D Diana.

Well in a few weeks we will be doing one of my favorite things... traveling. We will be headed from Florida to Utah. While out that way, enjoying some of the National Parks. Might even find some new rocks for the return trip.:)

It's getting to be that time of year that we will be out with Freddy Fleetwood for our spring shakedown/dewinterize weekend.

Our summer season will be taken up with trying to get out with Freddy and then taking Mack (the fire truck) to parades and musters. I say that having a privately owned fire truck is almost like having a kid that plays soccer . there's ALWAYS something !!! lol

I am trying to develop the hobby of scrapbooking .. have a wedding album to make up/finish for friends who's wedding I did the photography for LAST May and I just can't get myself motivated.

Off road 4X4 fun. Got to spend a few days this past spring in Moah UT. What a wonderful playground. Looking out the windshield of the rig we saw the morning sun and the arches from the National Park. Met a few folks who were into 4 wheeling. Tried my hand at it with our Jeep, and I can get into that as a hobby.
