A Great Place to Stay....

In our travels to escape the cold and snow, we ended up in Foley Alabama. We found the best RV Resort. It is called "Anchors Aweigh" off 59 on 20 sount. The park is three years old. You're about seven minutes from the beaches at the gulf coast, minutes away from Mobile Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. The resort has many planned activities for everyone. The owners are unbelievable. They go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is memorible. You will never be bored or have a lack of anything to do here. We're staying until March, but we'll be coming back again winter. Thought I'd pass it along, cause great places are had to find.....

What kind of rates do they have? 3 months/6months?

$32 daily for a back-in space or $37 for a pull-through space. $195 per week for a back-in space or $222 for a pull-through space.

They say to call them for monthly rates (why don't they just put it on their website...is it a big secret?).

So, r1kirby, what ARE the monthly or seasonal rates at this park?

We are montly as we will leaving March 2nd going westward. $465.00 for 30 days with full hook-ups including wifi and cable.

What has the weather been like there? Any good golfing around?

The weather is nice...some chilly nights, but warm days. There are several golf courses close by and in Gulf Shores.

Me? I quit playing golf.....I could never get by the windmill. (lil' golf humor)

Winter is on the way, about time to start looking. The wife misses the grandkids so I'm not sure what we'll do this year.

Great place to stay was there last year for awhile then moved on to Island Retreat on Fort Morgan Road nice place to stay also was there 2months nice people at both places:cool:
