Salmon
butter
lemon
salt
pepper
onions sliced approx. 1/4 inch
foil (optional)
Prepare salmon filets, remove fat, and belly fat. If using place foil on the grill grate ( optional). Lay onion down to form a bed for the salmon. Place salmon on onions skin side down. Salt and pepper salmon to taste. Melt butter and lemon in saucepan. Baste salmon several times while roasting on medium fire until done to taste. This is best if if onions are placed directly on the grate. Foil will just aid in cleanup but takes away from flavor. when done cooking salmon leave the cover of of the grill and let onions cook till dried out and they will flake right off of the grate.:D
