We are fulltimers. we use a Verizon air card. We have 2 cell phones [700 min] The computer is unlimited time and we pay about $146. month. Wherever you want your residence, get a mail service. Skp has a good service in Livingston, TX. How it works for us, we pay for the box yearly. we pay the postage and a handeling charge. We have a street address with a mailbox #. Have all your mail transfered to address and when you are on the road, call and have it sent to you. If you don't have a campground at the time you want the mail then have it sent general delivery in the town where you are staying. We have direct deposit and auto-pay. We hardly write a check. We use Debit cards instead. We have a dish network and we put it up wherever we are parked for any length of time. We are completely self contained. When we sold our house we sold everything we owned. We decided not to have any baggage [storage]. We spend our warm winters in the RGV and north for summers. We have just started to work camp. Not a lot, but enough to keep busy. I hope this helps. Karl and Lois

I also use Verizon for my cell and internet service. I have only one phone so It's around $107 a month. I use My RV Mail service. It is a little expensivr ($160 ayear) but I need a Florida address. Also you can view your mail on line and have them trash anything you don't want forwarded. You can go on line and forward your mail anytime day or night.

We use a Verizon air card via a router for our two laptops which are on a network. Works great - haven't had an issue yet. We have coverage just about everywhere, some connections slower than others but it's worth it. We also have two cells - we spend our winters in Yuma and our summers up north......this is a great lifestyle we love it

I have a alltel air card now It costs 66.25 a mo for unlimited internet useage. Don't know how long it will be like that cause verizon bought out alltell. My wife is online almost all morning every day in the summer when we are at the cg.and when she gets off the kids get on. so we are using it almost 18 hours a day every day. i initially purchased it for bill paying and banking but now we seem to use it more for entertainment. Also when we got the air card the only co that had towers near our cg was alltell but now they are linked with verizon they both use the same towers.

Havent had any trouble at all.

We use HugheNet Satellite System for our internet connection.
We use Hotmail as well as Yahoo for our Mail service.
We've had the HugheNet dish for over 3 years now. I'd not recommend it because it's just not a Plug and play type of service compared to the AirCards. It does connect well where ever we are parked though which as I look at the Verizon Coverage Map.. still seems to have quite a few holes in their coverage.
I expect in the years to come Cell coverage will improve greatly... and this HugheNet dish will go the way of the Rotary dial Phone.
