Any bird hunters out there. As you can see from my user name, I am primarily a grouse hunter but each year I travel to Kansas for pheasant and quail. I shoot 16ga-20ga and 28ga SXS. I use our RV as a base camp and camp where I am going to hunt.

Grousehunter, we are among the politically incorrect these days and many do not like to admit to their hunting activities in non-hunter forums as it often results in "flaming attacks" in the forum threads. Since 2004, I have travelled each fall with my English Setter and Golden Retriever. I too was in Kansas this past Fall and had a great time pheasant and duck hunting. Opening day of pheasant season, I didn't see another hunter until lunch time. There was only one other RV in the wildlife management area campground where I duck hunted. It wasn't like the videos of South Dakota, but compared to what I'm use to on the East Coast it was Fantastic!!
