With St. Paddys day comming I thought I'd post this one.
One corned beef roast
one head of cabbage sliced in wedges
about a lb of carrots peeled and cut in 3" long pieces and sliced in half.
one medium onion chopped
Place corned beef in bottom of large crock pot. Add carrots then put as much cabbage a that will fit on top. add water about half full. Cook on high for 4 hours or low 12 hours. I don't add any spices and let people season with salt and pepper when served. Usually the corned beef cure has enough salt none is needed. I also boil some potatoes and leave in bite size chunks to serve with this dish YUM YUM!!!!!
Oh yeah you can boil left over cabbage and add as the cabbage in the crock cooks down.
