Hello there, I be ole Jerry T. just got me this here used motorhome, fired up tha ole onan 4000 watt gen,,:( tad burn thang dun be puttin out 144 volts uf electric at all tha 120 outlets, is that thar normal,?? :confused: .. I be a thankin anybody fer ya help,, jerry T

That is NOT normal. It should be no more than 130 Volts. You need to consider getting it checked out professionally.

it sounds like the govenor is out of adjustment, or there is an adjustment on some of the voltage regulaters as well. either way you need me...or sumtin like me anyway!;) it also could just need to be lubed etc at the linkage. where away ya located at anyways?
