Not sure where to post this, so I'll try here. We are planning a trip to Colorado Springs from St Louis to visit a friend and would like to spend a night or two in a nearby campground. Preferably owned by the Corp or the State any suggestions?

thanks

Many Federal and State campgrounds are listed here http://www.recreation.gov/marketing.do?goto=/welcomeToNewRecreationGov.html maybe that will help you out.

Maybe one of the following links will help...

Here is a link to All 50 States, State Parks
http://www.lovetheoutdoors.com/camping/State_Index_StatePark_Campgrounds.htm Just click on the state you want.

Here is a link to All 50 States, COE locations
http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/visitors/visitors.cfm Just click on the state you want.

Here is a link to RV Parks in the U.S.
http://www.rvparksusa.com/

Last and probably one of the best
http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ just click on the State, then the area that you are interested in and start reading the reviews.
