The wacked out State of California may close all but 50+ State Parks in an attempt to balance the budget.

When your about to go bankrupt, you have to do something no matter how bad it hurts. They did the same thing here in the great tax state of New York.

With less govt and fewer giveaway programs the State of California would be awash in tax receipts.

There was an article on the news last night that showed several hundred companies and individuals that havent paid their state sales tax.
16 pages in all.
Im wondering why the local gov. hasnt gone after these deadbeats?
IMHO, if they collected all the back taxs, they may not be in the mess they are in.
Same with the feds and people owing back income taxs.

Having lived, worked, and played in California This is no loss. The peoples republic of California could hold a clinic on how a state can self-destruct. The land of "fruits and nuts" is just that. They don't call it the "left coast" for no reason.

I don't think it's so much, the lack of collecting taxes, as it is, giving away the taxes that you do have to illegals to tune of 10.5 BILLION $ a year. If they quit giving it away, perhaps they'd have money to take care of actual american citizens.:mad:

Don't stop @ queen Nancy!!! Add Jerry Brown (Gov. moonbeam), Diane Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Walters, and others whose names I can't remember, but there are many. All who have contributed to the Fiasco out there. I think we should consider a 49 state country LOL.:rolleyes:
