Are there any RV Parks near the Grand Canyon?? We're Planning a trip and want to visit the Canyon area and Canyonlands in Utah.

There are several Campgrounds in Williams, AZ taht allow you to take the train to the Grand Canyon & some have package deals with CG & train fees, however, doing this makes for a VERY long day.

Woops forgot to add there are 2 private cg's just outside the south rim entrance.
Also, if you wish to camp @ Williams & drive to the canyon it's about 60 miles one way.

The only park any where near to North Rim is in Jacob Lake. We parked there in 2004 for a couple of nights and it was satisfactory. The park is Kaibab Camper Village.
