We just purchased a 2006 Georgie Boy Pursuit (used with 1700 miles on it). We have been busy doing a slight remodel on the inside, but are looking forward to going camping this Spring and Summer! We tore out the fixed dinette and drove up to Elkhart, IN last weekend to buy an RV table and chairs.

We are learning to love our 2005 G.B. Luxura 37', it had ALOT of problems, it was in and out of the shop for over 15 months! We only had physical possession of it for 6 weeks during that time! The manufacturer finally completed all the repairs to our satisfaction and were generous in allowing us to order many options to be installed at no charge as a way to make-up for all the problems. I do have to say that the customer service was poor in the beginning, but turned around, when they discovered that we were not happy campers! We now are enjoying our beautiful rig. We are now in the middle of a couple of weeks vacation in it and all is well. I hope other customers have had a little better experiance with their rigs. Happy camping! DB.

Bought our 1996 Georgie Boy Pursuit last year 36,000 miles on it, was going to sell it but gave it a make Over on it instead, looks gorgeous, wood floors, new wallpaper, window treatments, looks like new inside.....

Might sell it one of these days, but no hurry....

IOBT999 - what was wrong with your GB that you had to have it repaired so many times?

We just purchased a new 2007 GB Pursuit and are currently sitting out at the Texas Motor Speedway here in Texas. Expecting sever weather so I hope it doesn't have hail dents all over it when we take it home. We worried about not being able to get the slides out a week after we got it home with it but found out that the unit needs to be completely level. The only other thing is that the hot water heater doesn't work on gas setting. We will probably take it in after we camp these next four days and see if there is anything else that needs looked at. Overall we have had a good experience with our new motorhome.

Mywife and I have a 1998 C-class Maverick by GB. It has almost 50k and has held up pretty well but is showing signs of its age. We have been looking and considering going to the A-class Pursuit but have not decided to take the plunge just yet. I would be interested in hearing other owners of the success or failures of the Pursuit.

We purchase our 2005 Landau 35 new in January of 2006. Since we got this beautiful looking beast, we had nothing but problems with it. It spent all together more than 80 days out of service.
We had problems with the coach portion from one end to the other. Just to mention some of the problems the retaining pin holding the Main Slide Out Room brakes causing it to becomes unattached and sliding open with the vehicle movements. This happen to us in four different occasions, two of them while we are driving down major California highways.
I don’t have to mention that my wife doesn’t even want to get near this Motor Home anymore.
We are working with the manufacturer to have them purchase the coach back from us.

In Oct 07, we went from 27 ft TT to 1995 GB Cruisemaster with 34K miles. The original owner kept it garaged and took emaculate care. The wife and I just went from Texas to Georgia and back with no problems. It is a fine unit and would not go back to TT or 5th wheel. I keep it in covered storage. Hope to gets lots of miles/years out of it. My understanding that 1995 or 1996 was the last years for orginal GB prior to Coahmen becoming new owner/manufacturer.

I just read all of the comments. I feel bad for you folks who have had all those problems. We have a 2005 Cruise Master LE, 37' with 3 slides. Have not had any problems with any part of the MH. We did have to have the Big Foot Auto jacks adjusted. We got it in July 07 and have gone on 2 week trips out of each month since. Just got back from 2 weeks in Florida. We are very happy with our rig. We get 7.5 to 8 mpg and that's towing an 06 Ford Focus with 5 speed manual.

 Well; it is 17 month since we last use our 05 Landau 35. It is sitting on the side of our house as a Back Yard Ornament.
COACHMAN still playing with us, our attorney got us a trail date for the month of August (four-month away). I can’t wait to see what they have to say.
It’s unforgivable that a company of this magnitude has that type of attitude against customers that spend a fortune on their Motor Homes. :(

We ordered-out and received our 35' 99 Cruise Master in the Fall of 1998. It's been a wonderful motorhome and our problems have been minimum. We haven't had a single slide-out problem, electrical problem, fuel problem, etc. Sure, we've had a few minor problems here or there but it has been a great buy for the money. Stop and think about what we received for our $64,000. A 35.5' Class A with huge slide-out. Big Foot jacks that we upgraded to fully automatic jack. Two 20" TV's, manual roof satellite, 2 AC's with heat strips, 50 amp service, built-in coffee maker, stereo w/CD, indirect mood lighting, honeymoon bedroom suite with full rear wall closet, two night stands with electrical outlets for each one, Hi-Tech Ford V-10 motor and chassis, rear back-up camera, etc. We're about to go over 50k and we're still happy with our purchase. Problems we've had like Onan Marquis 5.5 generator, Cruise Control, have not been Georgie Boy's fault but the manufacturers. Onan finally removed the Marquis genset and installed a new Marquis Gold for a very nominal cost even though it was way out of warranty.

We're very happy near 10 year owners of our GB

We have owned a used 2005 Cruise Master 36' with 3 slides for about a year.
Had 9000 miles when we purchased it. Only one problem leaking roof where kingdom was feed in through the roof. Windshied is developing a squeel in transit. Fewer problems with GBM than with the Southwind. So far we have enjoyed this rig, great layout and comfort features. Less hold storage than Southwind but the Southwind had no slides allowing huge bottom storage. We LOVE coach so far. Peg and Harv:D

We have a 99 Cruisemaster 34' I bought used in 2004. No slides, but big enough for a couple. Installed Sat TV and a 2500W Inverter system and lots of other upgrades. It has 55K on it and is primo, but if someone waved $34K at me I would reluctently part with it.

I had trouble with living room slide breaking and moving during traveling. called and was told that it broke in the wrong place, had the motor on the slide replaced. called the national transportation board in washington d.c. They said i was the only complaint they had ,so nothing they would do. cost 1200.00 to fix this problem. problems with hot water heater, backup t.v., bathroom sink, shore power cord. calling coachman is a joke

:( I also have filed a complain with The National Transportation Board for a slide out problem and it has gone completely ignored.
Our Motor Home has been at Coachmen service department many times. Twice the Slide Out opened up as I was driving the coach. They have not been able to fix the problem.
We finally filed a Lemon Law Suit. It has been going on for two years already and we still haven gotten a replacement yet.
Coachmen has already change attorneys three times to stall the claim. We are finally going to go to Trial in a month.
I can’t wait to see what they will pull next.
