Looking for every ones opinion on which emergency road service is better Coach-net or Good Sam . Called GS customer service center and got someone in India. I had heard they sub contracted their call center to a third party.

We have had both Good Sam Emergency Road Service & Coachnet. We are currently with Coachnet.
We have had service from both Good Sam & Coachnet & both were equally as good as the other, however, that outsourcing of phone calls to India wold be a deal breaker for me.

We have CoachNet as well. On two separate occasions had blow outs on the road with the previous coach, once was on a Saturday night in a semi-remote spot, the 2nd time on the interstate mid-morning, both times Coachnet got someone out there for us. I have also used them for my personal vehicle when the fuel pump went on my pick up and needed to be picked up by a flat bed and taken to the Chevy dealer. Had someone out for that one in less than a 1/2 hour

I have had Progressive for years, used them twice in one day 2 years ago with no problem. They were fast and I could not beat their price for full year coverage.

I've had Affinity (GS) ERS since 2001 and in reality when I need service I don't care where the phone call goes only care the timimg and quality of service I receive. So far whenever I've needed ERS for either the motorhome or one of our cars the service has been therefrom Affinity.

And according to your other reply, you have not been able to find a better price??? If so, you haven't looked!!! That is over 5 times what I pay Coach-Net for a year to cover ALL my vehicles AND to provide 24 hour technical support via telephone!!

I just read Coachnets policy and talked to an agent. They are "not" an insurance company of any sort, they are roadside emergency only, no liability or collison, etc.. With Progressive, I get it all, roadside, liability, 100% replacement, etc..

Nobody said anything about Coachnet or Good Sam's Emergency Road Service being an insurance company..... They both provide Emergency Road Service only.
He was only asking for a comparison and/or others experiences in order to compare the two.:)

Have read enough on other forums of poor service of users of the Good Sam's emergency road service. Makes me happy that I changed before I needed their services. One of the great things with Coachnet is they cover all of our vehicles for the same price, and there is no limit on the number of uses. So, goodbye AAA!

Wagon, Having had the need to use our Coachnet when I had an issue with my truck, I am definitely there with you on the 'personal' vehicles. We have never maintained a AAA membership in any form, but now having Coachnet gives me a peace of mind when I am traveling alone.
