Trying to find out all I could about electric waste valves I ended up speaking to Doug Swarts, President of Drain Master, maker of electric valves, sewer hoses and accessories. In about 20 minutes or so I learned more about rv waste systems than I thought possible.
Doug confirmed my suspecion that a macerator arrangement is really not the best way to drain the tanks, the length of time needed does indeed allow material, scum and stuff to cling to the walls, whereas gravity through the traditional sized hose is the preferred way, if one wants to really get rid of as much stuff as possible.
I placed an order for their premium sewer hose-the waste master- that utilizes a different style of attachment, 'cam loc' and it has a slick looking nozzel with a d type ring, and internal shutoff. From what I can see and understand this arrangement most certainly will be as clean as the sani con, which really was the only redeeming quality of the macerator system.

For about $120 usd I got the hose with bonded nozzel and cam loc, a cam loc adapter for the bayonett termination , and a pass through nozzel cover which I hope to be able to cut into the enclosure of our coach.

I can hear some of you rightfully thinking-'but he still will have to use the bayonett attachment', true enough and I would have thought the same, but if the system works as good as I think it will I can either remove the bayonett and glue in the cam loc, OR I could silicone and clamp the cam loc adapter for a permanent transition.

Looking forward to installing the stuff, will post pics when done.
