Yeah, your right, my brothers fault. I'll find out but it was just on the news that it has been canceled until after Christmas. New Years Eve would be a good time.

How far is it to the next crossing, before they get a new one built, Or are there only ferries?

No clue about a new bridge. The only bridge crossing is at Rouses Point to the north, to the south, I87, exit 20 to RT9 to 144 into Vermont.
